"Delicious pies! We got the corned beef mustard peas pie, big brekkie (had an egg, mini sausage, hashbrown) and a cinnamon scroll. The pies were excellent. Not too oily or heavy and full of real chunky filling. The cinnamon scroll was plush and soft. Some space out front to sit if the weather is not too cold!"

"Cute little cafe / store on the road into Te Anau. They serve a range of pies and pastries. The jalapeño pretzel was very nice. The croissant is very chocolate.. so nothing wrong either! The coffee is good, nice flavour although not very strong. Might need an extra shot if that's your thing. Staff is friendly and the whole store has little souvenirs and NZ treats - hard to leave without purchasing anything. Worth a visit."

"Great breakfast spot! They serve up hot Sanga’s Pies which were apparently very popular, and has coffee that uses a unique milk which makes it all the more better. The pork belly pie we got was a taste we were pretty used to as Asians, since it’s a variant used in baos commonly. Coffee was good, flavourful and tasted a little different versus what we tried since they used a different milk.  there’s only 1 table on the indoors, but a long bench with heaters on the outdoors for those dining in! The service was really friendly in general too, definitely a great place to come by for a breakfast before heading towards Milford Sound!"

"Fantastic little shop and Café in Te Anu. All items are baked and prepared in store. Chicken pie was the best I’ve ever had. Also able to get great gluten-free options. They sell a bunch of local items, including honey and Art. Extremely friendly staff. Hands down the best café we went to in all of New Zealand."

"Returning to give this place a 5 star review after our NZ trip as we can now say that they might just have the best pie and sausage roll in South Island. We tried famous pies from Fergbakery and Farlie Bakery and this was indeed better. The crust was flaky/ buttery and the filling (Chinese five spice pork) was just perfect - great flavors and super tender meat. Our favourite however was the sausage roll that was made in store. The dough was thin and meat well seasoned, juicy and generous. Will drive all the way to Te Anau again just for this. Highly recommend!! Only downside is no toilet here so you’ll have to find a public toilet a couple mins drive away."
